Jo is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist specialising in mental health and sports and exercise psychology. Jo has extensive clinical experience after spending 17 years working in the NHS in both primary and secondary care, working with adults, young people, couples and families and now works in private practice. Following her initial doctoral psychology training at City University, Jo completed further post-graduate CBT training at Oxford and is an accredited CBT and Schema therapist, as well as a Consultant EMDR practitioner. In terms of couples therapy, as well as being trained in EFT, Jo completed the couples for depression practitioner and supervision training at the Tavistock and also has some training in psycho-sexual issues. Jo is currently offering couples therapy online.
